Position Summary:

As a vital member of the Revive Painting and Wall Covering leadership team, the Senior Estimator, reporting directly to the President, oversees all customer estimates and conducts pre-construction meetings. This role involves close collaboration with project managers to ensure clarity on estimates and effective project execution. Proficiency in technology and estimating software is a must, along with the ability to work with plans and construction drawings to provide accurate pricing for projects. The ideal candidate should also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be adept at fostering strong client relationships.

• Participating actively in meetings with stakeholders
• Managing project budgets during the design phase
• Proactively identifying and resolving issues
• Establishing and nurturing positive relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and trades
• Maintaining accurate electronic records and directories
• Creating comprehensive estimates for labor, material, and overhead costs

Business Leadership:

• Establishing performance benchmarks for company operations
• Leading and managing a team of professionals
• Upholding high standards and conducting regular team meetings

Supervising:

• Assisting in the recruitment of estimating staff

Position Summary:

As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project.

A site foreman has a solid background in the field. Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities
• Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Monitor material and rental expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
• Resolve problems when they arise
• Report on progress to managers, engineers etc. This will be done through companies CRM​

Requirements:

• Proven experience as construction foreman
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
• Understanding of all tasks, duties and responsibilities in working with other trades and specifically with client site representative(s).
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to communicate and report effectively
• Aptitude in math
• Problem-solving abilities
• Good physical condition and stamina
• High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade (paint, etc.)
• Understand how to do priming, painting, staining, vinyl wall coverings, spraying
• Very organized and can handle paperwork
• Good computer and technology skills
• Safety tickets such as WHMIS and lift tickets. Other safety tickets are an asset
• Reliable
